Artist Stuart Simler has once again worked with Manor Mead School on our annual community project. Working on themes of collaboration and Journeys, the project involved pupils from Manor Mead and feeder secondary school Walton Leigh School, both specialist schools for learning.

The aim for this project was to view the history of the project artwork and engagements between the two schools and celebrate the 'idea and memories' for each person.

The outcome of the project has resulted in a stunning final artwork, a large engaging and colourful mono print representing  the young artists choices and thoughts about the places that are important and meaningful to them.

Alongside these artworks are the working drawings by each individual. Stuart has helped to bring these original works together in a way that is empathetic to the artistic values of the gallery space.
