The Exhibition documents an extraordinary journey which spans the past 10 years of the Embroidery Gallery and 21 years of the Embroidery Project as a whole.

A large archive of material, including memorabilia, drawings, posters and documents is brought together to show the many stages of its development.

Originally conceived in the mid-1990s, the Sunbury Millennium Embroidery became a unique project which encapsulated and epitomised all that was best in the community of Lower Sunbury.The project only succeeded because of the extraordinary support it received from Sunbury residents, some of whom

embroidered the remarkable work and many who have been loyal friends over the years.
