FRIDAY 6 OCTOBER – 7pm to 9:30pm.

All skill levels - from beginners up.

Price £55 including all material.

Transform a cherished fragment of fabric or a memory into a stunning work of art with no experience required. Using the versatile medium of felt, Lesley will guide you in creating a beautiful 2D wet felted memory art piece that not only looks beautiful but also holds a deep personal meaning. Incorporate sentimental items like fabric scraps, lace, yarns, or buttons of your own or use the provided wool fibres to create a unique representation of a memory, holiday, or landscape. You will learn the wet felting technique such as how to blend and lay out wool fibres, apply fabrics, manipulate the wool and other items into a finished piece and further embellish. You will mount your sampler into a box frame. At the end of the workshop, you'll have gained a new skill and made a beautiful felt artwork that can be displayed at home or gifted as a thoughtful memento.
