Judith is a regular tutor on our workshop programme. Irrespective of the participants experience, all leave at the end of the day with impressive willow sculptures worthy of putting on display either in the garden or in the home.
Chicken or Turkey Willow Sculpture
MONDAY 6 NOVEMBER – 10am to 3pm.
All skill levels - from beginners up.

Spend a fun and creative day weaving a lifelike chicken or a turkey sculpture to enhance your garden or perhaps to make a special gift. Mainly using a random weave, this is a class where, once you have mastered the basics, you don’t have to concentrate too hard, and you can chat as you weave! There are, however, some interesting techniques to learn for the details of legs, comb and tail feathers – all borrowed from traditional basket making.
Christmas Reindeer Willow Sculpture

Get into the festive spirit and join this workshop where you'll learn the skill and experience the joy of working with Willow! Create your very own decorative reindeer standing tall at approximately 75cm. This Christmas, why not place your own beautiful reindeer beside your front door to warmly welcome visitors? Complete the look with twiggy antlers and twinkling fairy lights, which are all included in the workshop. Throughout the class, you'll get the opportunity to learn a variety of basketry techniques, so you'll leave with not only an impressive decoration but also plenty of new skills under your belt.
