The Sunbury Gallery runs a year-round programme of workshops which cater for all abilities, from beginners to seasoned professionals.

•  All workshops are individually priced. Price includes all materials & kits as appropriate and a welcome tea or coffee on arrival. Spaces on workshops are limited so it is recommended to book early to ensure a place.

• Workshops run from 10:00 to 15:00 (unless stated otherwise). All participants are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of stated time so workshops can start on time.

• For all workshops, except those held on Mondays when the Café is closed, a lunch break is taken at a suitable time for which a group table is reserved for all participants in the Café. To save time, lunch orders are taken on arrival from the Café menu, for which a charge is made. For Monday workshops it is advised to bring your own lunch.

• Payment for all workshops will be taken at the time of booking. We are happy to consider a refund where a cancellation is required for unforeseen personal reasons only. No refunds can be made within one week of the date of the workshop.

• Public car parking is available in either the Walled Garden car park or the Meadow car park for which there is a charge of £2 per day. Disabled parking bays are available in the Walled Garden car park, near the entrance to the Gallery.

Personalised One-to-One Embroidery Tuition

​

We offer personalised one-to-one Embroidery Tuition: join Sophie Long, a graduate from the Royal School of Needlework, for exclusive one-to-one embroidery classes. With expertise in over 30 hand embroidery techniques, Sophie's focus is on individualized attention.

​

In this two-hour session, Sophie will guide you through your embroidery project, regardless of your skill level. Her instruction is tailored specifically to your abilities.Get expert advice on designs, stitches, and refining your work. Note that kits are not provided, but Sophie is available to assist you in choosing your project.

 

This tailored one-to-one workshop up to 2 people is dedicated to improving your embroidery skills.

 

Price: £95 for 2 hours and for up to 2 people.
