The Café and Gallery are open

Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 4pm

Following the recent Government advice on the spread of the Coronavirus, the Sunbury Embroidery Gallery has been closed to visitors temporarily until further notice. All exhibitions and workshops have been cancelled or postponed. We are constantly reviewing the situation as it continues to develop, but at this time cannot say exactly when the Gallery will reopen. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Appeal for Donations

In July, it will be fourteen years since the Sunbury Embroidery Gallery opened its doors to the residents of Sunbury on Thames and the wider visiting public. As a charity we are proud to have been self-funding since opening due to the income generated through our Café and Gallery art & merchandise sales as well as generous donations from many of the 45,000 visitors we welcome each year.

However, just when we were looking to start an exciting and action packed summer of fund-raising activities for the Gallery extension and development, we have been forced to close due to the Covid-19 virus and the recent nationwide lockdown. Consequently, our income is zero and will remain so until social isolation restrictions are lifted and daily life can start to get back to normal.

Until that time, if any one feels able to support this remarkable community project during this difficult time any donation would be much appreciated. Simply click on the donate button now. Thank you all for you continued support
